DAY 12

Comment

This can be tackled intuitively, by a kind of trial and error.
For example, assume that P is nearer the window than Q;
then, imagine moving leftwards;
will the trees appear to move further apart, as in view B ?

Answer

Q is nearer the window.

Readers' methods

Joerg K, Acle NR13:
As you move to the left, objects seen through the window also appear to move to the left (relative to the window frame).
The nearer an object is to thewindow, the less it appears to move (an object ON thewindow appears not to move at all).
Q appears to have moved less than P, so Q is nearer to the window.
