1 in 20 is 5 in 100, so there are 5 tickets that win a prize.
This means there are 95 tickets that won't win a prize, so to be sure of getting at least one prize, I need to buy at least 96 tickets.

If you were very unlucky you could buy 95 tickets and still lose, so 96 would be needed to be sure!
