Movie E1

In this movie, we see what happens from E's point of view this time, as the distance between each bug increases and eventually doubles.

Again, students might notice that the P-shape has maintained its shape but has become twice as large. They might also notice that the distance from E to any of the other bugs has doubled, and that, indeed, the distance between any pair of bugs has doubled.

Students might also see that the relative final positions of the bugs are the same as those from D's viewpoint. [Indeed, this is true for any viewpoint, as is indicated by the JAVA-1 and JAVA-2 worksheets.]

However, some student might find it easier to make these observations when the movie includes a grid (as on the next page), or where the P-shape is made more explicit (on the next but one page).
