These webpages include movies and JAVA worksheets that allow us to explore what happens to the path of the ball when we change the positions of B and P and the size of the table.

We look for relationships between the coordinates of P and B and the dimensions of the table.

To keep things simple, the position of B is restricted so that the ball always bounces to the right, onto the right-hand cushion; also, the ball stops when it is back 'level' with P.

The next page shows the path of the ball when B is in the current position.
